The twin room I stayed in was tastefully decorated with view of the mountain. The hotel had a remote setting on the cliffs of the N coast of Madeira. Plus, it was really close to housed in a separate building and nature, true costal ocean view, local atmosphere, personal service, piece and quiet, relaxing, mindfulness and good food.

Peaceful location, relaxing area, not far from Caldeirao Verde, Pico Ruivo, Levada do Rei, hiking and trekking and the cliffs with seaview, palmtrees and vineyards in front of the balcony, mountains to the other side.

Enjoyed Santana, the hotel was well-maintained on a dramatic coastline. The staff was professional and service-minded, always on hand when needed. I booked fashionable twin room here with fabulous views as well as very good beds. The venue was in a remote location near to the cliff with the ocean and mountain view, the nature of Quinta do Furao's gardens and the restaurant and pub, housed in a separate building. I had a very good stay.
